Who reads the site

We don't publish traffic numbers we can't stand behind, so here is the honest description. Our readers are South Carolina residents, first-time legal clients, families helping someone through a case, small-business owners and consumers. They're researching before they act, and they read to the end of guides that answer their question. If you'd like current analytics, ask and we'll share what we have.

• Sponsored articles. Clearly labeled as sponsored at the top of the page, written to the same plain-English standard as our own guides, and never disguised as editorial.
